【ジャケ買イノススメ】
JAZZについて語る知識とセンスは持ち合わせていないが、このジャケット写真は、かなりよく知られたジャケットの一つである。
だが、この写真を見て、本当の音楽通は違和感を覚えるはず。なぜなら、ジャケットの女性の足が右向きになっているからだ。
「COOL STRUTTIN’」のジャケットは本来、女性の足が左向きになっているものが世の中に知られているジャケットである。
この右向きのジャケットは、1989年にアメリカでリリースされた、「エラージャケット（印刷ミスによるもの）」というものらしい。
これを見つけたレコード店には、このエラージャケットのU.S盤と、正規のジャケット盤がどちらも陳列されていたが、U.S盤が格安、正規のジャケット盤がお高めの値段だった。
LP盤には、こうした、何かしらの理由で価値が下がってしまったレコードがあるようだ。別の機会に購入したマイルス・デービスの「Kind of Blue」も、ある理由が原因で安くなっていた。僕はその価値が下がったエピソードこそが面白いと思って買っているので、正直聞ければなんでもいいと思っている。

クレジットを書き写していて気になったのが、
